Braemar Awarded 2015 Midwest Synchronized Skating Championships

It is with tremendous excitement and anticipation that I share the good news that the Braemar City of Lakes Figure Skating Club has been awarded the distinction of Host Club for the 2015 Midwestern and Pacific U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships. Please click here for the press release as well as this link to the USFSA website.

The competition will be held January 29-31, 2015 at Braemar Arena.  It is anticipated that over 2,500 USFSA judges, skaters, coaches and their families from the midwest to the pacific coast will visit our arena to participate in the competition.

Not only will this event enable us to highlight our rich history as a skating club, our world-class synchronized skating teams, and our wonderful city/state, but it also enables us to grow interest in skating and to financially strengthen our club.

Planning for this great event will begin early next year.  For now, though, please join me in celebrating this exciting news which reflects so positively the energy and dedication of our many club members and coaches that are committed to perpetuating the sport of Skating.

Happy holidays to you and yours.

Best regards,
