The Marlys Larson Award was established in 2000 in recognition of Marlys’ contributions to USFSA as Co-Chair of the first World Synchronized Team Skating Championship, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The award is given locally to the synchronized skating team that placed the highest at a qualifying synchronized skating competition that year.

Last season, Team Braemar was the 2014 Junior Midwestern Synchronized Skating Sectional Champions, and silver medalists at the 2014 Spring Cup held in Milan, Italy.

Team Braemar is truly grateful for and humbled by this special recognition. Congratulations to Team Braemar!
