DREAM Adaptive Skating is a learn to skate program for children with disabilities ages 4-18.

The class allows children of all abilities to learn to skate at their level and ability, whether it is experiencing being on the ice or moving across the rink. Ice skating increases physical coordination, strength and is a social and fun activity. Dream is a collaboration between the Braemar Figure Skating Club, Edina Hockey Association and the City of Edina Adaptive Recreation Program. High School Volunteers from figure skating and hockey are paired with children as Buddies. Buddies play a huge role- they work on skills, provide support and make the experience fun and social.
